Well its never gone out of fashion on 160m, especially here in south
eastern UK. Loads of it around 28.9 - 29.3 Mhz mostly from USA/Canada.
Surprisingly, they are all using the original equipment from the 50/60's !
80m here in the UK is pretty dead, and I would say it makes it an ideal
band to use for QRP natter rigs with AM. Nice and cheap, and an alternative
to VHF for homebrewers.
