My mistake, I thought the US FCC was known about throughout the world
famous. Obviously there are remote backwaters were this isn't so.

No *YOU* don't. Whilst your English is superb for someone who isn't a
native you have failed completely to understand what was written. Go and
read it again and see where you made a mistake. (Hint: The law in the UK
applies to UK radio hams, not to overseas nationals.)

Not a lot. You don't have a UK licence so UK rules wont apply you. Tell me
Mike, which part of ' UK radio amateurs have to obey the UK laws ' don't
you understand? The fact remains, and I'll add emphasis and type this
slowly for those who can't read fast...
In the ***UK*** if you have a ***UK radio amateur licence*** and you wish
to perform any kind of communications over the internet ***identified by
your UK callsign*** and those communications ***are accessible by amateur
radio anywhere in the world*** then you have to ***obey the UK licence***.
Simple isn't it? The corollary is also simple, if you don't have UK
licence then its perculiar rules about the internet and amateur radio
don't apply to you.
