"Rock Cakes

Ingredients
1 Breakfast cup Plain Flour
4 ounces (100 grams) butter or Lard
2 raised dessertspoons Sugar
2 ounces (50 grams) currants
1/2 ounce (25 grams) or 1 round Candied Peel
2 raised Teaspoons baking powder
Milk to mix
Instructions
Rub butter or lard into flour; add the other dry ingredients, then
sufficient milk to make a stiff dough. Place on cold greased oven trays in
rocky shapes. Bake about 10 to 12 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200
degrees Celsius)."
