Peanut Biscuits

Recipe from my mother [Beverly Sheffield].
Ingredients
1 Cup (4 oz) plain Flour
1 Teaspoon Baking powder
1 Cup (100g or 4oz) white Sugar
4 oz (100g) butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
2 cups (8oz) raw skinned peanuts
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
Instructions
Cream the butter and Sugar (I put both in a mixing bowl with another
plastic bowl underneath containing boiling water from a kettle, to slowly
heat the butter & allow the sugar to be stirred in). Add egg. Mix well
(use large spoon). Mix in sifted dry ingredients. Lastly add peanuts
(skinned). Put out in spoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet (or line with
parchment paper) for oven baking.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 170 degrees Celsius or 350 degrees
Fahrenheit.
