I 2wonderd what this 'putain' was ???
I thought it might be something Russian like Vladimir- weak joke, sri.

I wonder if they do have Russian chips ?

I do know they had MacDonalds and Coke (called Gazirovodnaya Voda=
Gassified Water) in the USSR, so I expect they have Mac Fries just like we
have all over Europe now.

The only continental NcD I ever frequented was on holiday in a place
called Scheveningen, near The Hague in Holland, a seaside resort where
everything was at high, tourist prices. I found that the Golden Arches was
the cheapest place to go for an evening meal. Even the locals used to eat
there.

I remember having the biggest meal. a Special Big Mac and Fries, I think.
It must have been a while back because I remember paying in Guilders so it
must have been before 2002 when they switched to the Euro.

I still rate the French 'Pommes Frites' and the Hindu chips as the ones
with the best flavour though.

I wonder if they have Pommes Frites in Canada ?

All the best for now.
