"Cup size chart

Owing to the variation in size of cups, spoons, etc., the exact weights
cannot be accurately gauged and are only approximate. However, the
following will be found to be fairly accurate.

Liquid measures:
1 Breakfast cup                             = 1/2 pint
1/2 Breakfast cup                           = 1 gill
20 fluid ounces (British measure) = 1 pint
1 Tablespoon                                = 1 ounce
1 Wineglass                                 = 2 Tablespoons
1 pint                                      = 600 millilitres

Dry measures:
1 level Teacup of sugar weighs 6 ounces
1 level Breakfast cup of sugar weighs 8 ounces
So the Breakfast cup holds 30% more sugar than the Teacup.

1 level Breakfast cup flour weighs 6 ounces.
So sugar is denser than flour (weighs more for the same volume).

An average hen egg weighs 2 ounces."
