Hello !
I receive a letter from Kantronics today concerning availability of
DAMA slave EPROM for KAM+, KAM and Enhancement Board, KPC-3 and
KPC-9612. The upgrade is already available, but Kantronics decided
not release it under a new version number. The reason is that this
update is not interesting for most of their users (DAMA is not yet
used in USA). Actually DAMA EPROMs are available for dealers in
countries where DAMA is in use (they state DL, PA and ON) and they
sell new units with them. Kantronics also offers free EPROM replacement
for units bought in that countries since October 1, 1995.
For all others - EPROM is available by Kantronics, price is $24.95
plus $10 S/H. You must specify you require DAMA EPROM, because version
number remains the same - latest KAM+ version is 8.0.
