It does not work that way, Warren. ISPs mark everything that looks like
spam as spam and block it. There was certain advertising material that I
do want to receive (lists of CDs for instance) and I found that these were
not coming through.The ISP software was blocking them automatically.
No! Mailwasher or a similar program is the only way to go unless you wish
to have all your mail censored by a machine which cannot read. You don't
have to receive the spam - you look at the header and make your own
decision whether to delete without downloading.
