Hi Folks

Have watched this thread with interest to see if another meaning comes up,
but it hasn't.

You may be interesed to know that in mathematics there is a device known
as a catenary function.

It is a function that enables you to calculate the droop in an overhead
cable.  The amount of droop depends on the distance apart of the supports,
the weight of the cable and tension it is under.

I can't remember what the function is as I studied it some 27 years ago
and old age has memory problems.
