Hi all,

Here we go again with computer paranoia, the government is out to get me.
Well, actually the US government is out to get you with thier latest
foray on the Internet. "They" say they're only spying on Arab terrorists
but who REALLY knows what Maxwell Smart is up to? When Bush is adamant
about putting a Dubai based company in charge of US ports in effect
hiring a weasel to guard the hen house you begin to wonder. OK, so much
for my political rant sure to stir up controversy on packet as intended.
(;->)

Good grief Charlie Brown, if you want security that old tried and true
3DES encryption developed by the CIA is so good even they can't easily
break it. It's been a stock item in Windows ever since it was released
worldwide about a decade ago, you just may not recognize it since it has
several file names, every software company has one version or another.

Now if you want to permanently delete something you don't have to "shred"
it on the spot anymore, Tracks Eraser Pro can be configured to clean up
critical files automatically. Mine is set to run when I shut down the
computer, only takes about 30 seconds before the shut down sequence
begins. Every so often I run it manually to clean up all the main
operating drives (not the compressed backup, that doesn't routinely get
written to) so everything I have deleted gets turned into mush in a
couple of minutes.

Yes Ian I can tell you how to bulk delete a CD, put it in the microwave
for a few seconds. (;->)
