My statement (above) simply put means that it is the person's attitude
that determines what you get out of life. I don't know of anything that
doesn't take a bit of effort and that goes along with Ham Radio. If it is
worthwhile then it takes some effort!

It is fine that many rely on the propogation charts, etc. but they are
just a guide. For an example: I watch the weather, on the TV, and then
to get it more accurately as I look out the window.

In another bulletin, that I read today, someone was continuing the
conversation of dropping activity on Packet Radio.

It is a matter of attitude! My solution to having poor coverage in
Arizona is to do something about it instead of griping. As I am writing
this, I am in the advanced stages of setting up a HF/VHF BBS Packet
Station to serve the state of Arizina and provide connection to the 61
National SYSOPS that link this country to ATTITUDE! Anything can
be accomplished with the right attitude. What can YOU (meaning everyone
reading this bulletin) do to make Packet Radio BETTER?

I am not here to Judge anyone. I leave that sort of thing to the real
Judges. I fully realize the stresses and pressures put on us all each
day, as I am no different from the rest of you. Ham Radio is a HOBBY and
is, like any other hobby, meant to help you relax and forget the troubles
of the day. If I am all bummed out, there are days that reading a ham
radio related book is all I can handle that day to relax.

You get out of Ham Radio what you put into it. ATTITUDE alone determines
the future of Packet Radio!!!

Long Live Packet Radio!
