From this you can surely ascertain the fact that Trevor has made his own
judgement regarding closure of his (mainly) HF BBS.
In reply to this message G0FTD made some most infantile and despicable
inferences that could reflect on Trevor as well as another person or
persons unnamed.
G0FTD obviously took no heed of the fact that Trevor had made it clear
that
no further messages could reach him directly via the Packet Radio Network.
He, G0FTD, showing complete disregard for reason and decency, provided the

Is it true that one of your VK5 users dobbed you in to the ACA for
alledged offences under the:
Australian Imaginary Amateur Radio Offences Act 2003 ?

I do not know where you, G0FTD, gleaned from the bulletins I sent, that I
was "dobbed" into the ACA. I find the insinuation that I have somehow
contravened regulations and had been forced to shut down by the ACA a slur
against my name and operations. The "wink" at the end of your sentence
does
not make the insinuation funny or seem in jest. Rather it seems you have
an
agenda to stir trouble.
I would ask that you retract your statement and tender an apology via the
amateur packet system to right what you have stated.

I have already commented in two previous bulletins regarding the stupidity
of G0FTD in producing this content.
Since then I have had a discussion with Trevor VK5ATB.
He assures me that his reasons for closure of his BBS are, in the main,
personal and have no connection with general matters as far as Amateur
Radio is concerned, neither are they anyone else's business.
He has categorically stated that they also have nothing to do with the ACA
or any other individual connected with Amateur Radio.
He commented, in passing, that his only contact with the ACA over the many
years of his operation has been the normal annual action needed to renew
his licence.
Trevor has said that he supports me completely as far as my comments
regarding G0FTD are concerned and finds that particular person to be
completely out of line with his nasty and unjustified inferences towards
himself, i.e. VK5ATB, as well as any inferences regarding other persons.
The content of this bulletin has been provided for Trevor's perusal prior
to being lodged on the network and he has been given a clear prerogative
to
amend any wording as seen necessary by him and also to make any additions
that he sees as being desirable.
AS SHOWN ABOVE, TREVOR VK5ATB HAS ADDED HIS COMMENTS.
I hope that G0FTD will have both the decency to apologise for his rash and
unwarranted comments and that he may also see fit to provide some
reasonable explanation, if he can come up with same, regarding his
ludicrous outburst.
