	Re getting the command prompt, you don't have to do the start run bit.
Bill Gates put it up there large as life to be easily obtained by his
usual means, ie It is in start/programs/accessories, from where you can
right click on it, to put the prompt icon on your desktop.
	However the DOS in XP is not to be compared with say DOS 5.1 etc. It is
still running out of windows and will not perform on all programs, as did
a DOS computer.
	To get a real DOS running, you need to boot up from a dos embedded floppy
etc. however you my still find that unless your hard disc is formatted in
DOS, it won't always recognise real DOS.
	Another problem with modern ATX computers is that their comports are
differently configured to earlier AT's. Such that you will find the ATX
comport, will not work with programs, such as the good old PAKET6.
