For some strange reason, whenever I want to use an olde worlde DOS
application within the 32 bit cmd line in XP, I found I had no keyboard
or mouse control.
The compatability wizard was of no help either.
As such I need to use the reboot option as I previously described
initiated from running MSCONFIG.
Of course, I hear that it's only me that needs to do this palava, noone
else seems to have the problems I describe :-()
However, it is a laptop and I guess laptops these days don't require
anything to do with DOS or strange hardware.
And that includes overpriced hardware TNC's with technology that was
probably on the Bell labs drawing boards in the late 1960's ;-))
