Hi All Radio Control enthusiasts

In my stupidity, I reversed polarity whilst fitting a battery pack to my
4# Sanwa radio control transmitter. This caused the IC to pop, (and a
transistor).
I've tried five suppliers of electronic components here in Cape Town, with
little sucess. (All tell me that it is not listed), hence, an equivelant
cannot be found either. I've since learnt, that this IC was burnt (excuse
the punn), by the manufacturers, specifically for radio control use ie:
one of a kind.

Is there is someone out there, that could please help or guide me as to
where I could obtain same ?

The part number is: NE5044N - 8322

Their website does not mention this component as being available as a
spare part.

PS An old discarded 27Mhz R/C transmitter of the same type, with the same

chip would also satisfy my needs.
(The transistor is available locally no problem).

Thanks in advance
Regards
Eldred
