My advice is to post your question on a real newsgroup - This one only seems
inhabited by Trolls [most likely the same ones you might encounter on 20
meters and CB] - as you can see from the other response. I asked for help
and only received smart mouthed responses as well.

Hi to all !

I want to try with 9k6 packet radio (until now I have played well with
1k2), and don't know
what radio to use . Now I can choose between :
kenwood tmg-707 , which as a built-in 9k6 data port , or
standard c-528 , for which are available a lots of mods ...

Any advice?

I'm just a stundent, so don't want to throw away my money ....

Good question. Do some companies sell cables for connecting
Morse keys to rigs as well? It sounds like some people would need it.

(Or do some keys come with cables too? My Hi-Mound didn't,
and my FT-847 has an odd key connector anyway.)
