Sell the God damn thing, and get a real radio.

The inbuilt TNC of the TH-D7 is awful for data transmission with PC! Is it
possible to connect the Kenwood TH-D7 transceiver to an external 9k6 bps TNC?
Parts need to be replaced on the PCB or only "wiring"?

Please give me some clues!

First:

Go down to Radio Shack and buy a multi-meter. In 17 years you
should have acquired one by now. With this device, no pin-out
or audio output is beyond your capability to map and decode, or
calibrate. Volt's and Ohm's are simple to learn.

Second:

You're going to have to have another ham report on your PSK
signal, as it will be easy to overdrive. Measure the audio level
for a future reference. An O'scope is better, look for one.

I'm curious about several things:

Don't you have local resources you can draw on? Doing stuff like
this over the Internet seems a pain, though people insist on doing
it anyway.

Why do so many hams draw a blank when they interface sound cards
to radios, anyway? It's just wires.

What ever happened to troubleshooting? If it doesn't work perfectly
when first plugged in, people seem to give up these days...

Well excuusse me - The reason news groups were put together was to share
ideas and information, but apparently this one is only to put down people
with questions. Thank you to those who gave me the helpful advice. And to
the rest of you, The next time you hear about amateur radio losing
popularity, you can pat yourselves on the back, puff up and exclaim loudly
in the ng's, "Yep, and I helped! They were probably too dumb to understand
it anyway....."

Subject: To Break The First Commandment...Trinity 9018

Mark 12:29 And Jesus Answered Him, The First Of All The Commandments Is,
Hear, O Israel; The Lord OUR God Is One Lord:

This is the first commandment that Jesus gave and that is "The Lord OUR
God Is One Lord". If Jesus only said: "The Lord YOUR God Is One Lord"
,there would have been some ambiguity as to whether Jesus was God. But
Jesus said “The Lord OUR God Is One Lordö therefore he removed all
ambiguity by his utterance so that no one can ever rightly say that
Jesus was God. Someone who has a God can never be your God. This is
the first commandment of Jesus yet we see that the majority of
Christiandom break this very first commandment by making Jesus their God
and then they think they are saved and will inherit paradise. Such a
belief is totally unbiblical and against the teachings of Jesus.

Jesus said:

Mt 19:17 And He Said Unto Him, Why Callest Thou Me Good? There Is None
Good But One, That Is, God: But If Thou Wilt Enter Into Life, Keep The
Commandments.
