Haw Hawr! I've often accused flamers of being a few bricks short of a load,
but no need to here. This old boy's post speaks for itself.

Well, I didn't think you were serious. Now that I see you really
are serious, I will only say that you are right and I am wrong.

I wish you the best success in designing new laws of physics
to do what you would like. I know that someone will eventually
find a way for microwaves to go through mountains, and for
forests to have 0 dB of attenuation. It may even be yourself!

Stew, you advocate breaking the law?

Several of the regulars in this newsgroup would benefit greatly from a
little bit of SLACK. The place to learn about SLACK is the Church of Bob:

..Also known as the church of the subgenius.

"He ain't no man, he ain't no god, I don't wanna walk the path 'Bob' trod."

Now at http://www.subgenius.com.

You're right. Ham radio newsgroups are traditionally slackless. I accept it
as "cleansing the palate." A notable exception is the antenna group,
agitated by the fractenna character (s?). Not really a troll, I believe
fractenna is a rare channeling MetaTroll, oblivious to his own nature,
staying 110% in character and causing some of the funniest flamefests I've
seen this side of news:rec.sports.football.college .

Gratuitous on-topic material follows: Bought a Hustler 5/8 over 1/4
collinear 2-meter vertical antenna with tiny radial spokes at the local ham
club el-cheapo auction last week. Turns out it also loads up on 10 meters.
Worked France and Spain right off the bat this morning on psk31 with the
darn thing. 40 watts.
