Oh, please! I suppose you are going to tell me that you never drove
over 55mph, when that was the national speed limit?

Bullpucky. Drop the "holier-than-thou" routine.

This was 2 years ago. Stanford had it, and the folks i was
talking to in the San Jose and east-bay areas were going to
get set up for it. They (and the jnos mailing list inhabitants)
were very very helpful in getting me set up in 1997. Some of
them probably frequent this newsgroup.

You ass needs a good spanking little one. When you can't argue a point
then put them down for spelling errors then right? This kind of
perfectionism we don't need. Stop filling the groups with YOUR spam
that's off topic.

My point was; our innovative forefathers didn't put up with this nay-
saying crap and neither should we. If you're not for innovation you're
against it.

Look Charlie! Put down the broken beer bottle and shut the hell up. You
are obviosly stupid or you wouldn't have you real name posted is hear.
Your one sided neanderthal thinking isn't helping anyone.

My point is that wanting to change, enhance, ungrade and or fix the FCC
regs is NOT the same as disregaurd for them. I'm not talking about the
kind of childish repeater interference that you probably do yourself.
I'm talking about new tecnologies and REAL benefits. I do NOT condone
breaking the law. Open your eyes.

Your kind says they want to keep the ham bands from being sold off but
in truth you are a kin to CB'ers trying to commander the band for your
own special interest! What's more your know-it-all fat headed swill is
getting old. I don't care what you've accomplished technically if your
going to be an ass. This is a lesson that all Hams best consider or we
will stagnate or die until the old gaurd dies off. I'm not that young
and so I personally don't care to wait for the foolishness to stop.
Just cease and stop being a big baby!

Hugs and kisses

I simply say again....
Don't you know if we could start providing some real benefits (both on
or off the Ham bands) people would take notice? What could be better
for Ham radio's future?

The Tekk radios can do 19.2kb if you replace the stock IF filters (at 21.4MHz)
with wider ones. PacComm in Florida sells a version that already has the mod,
or can provide the parts if you want to do it yourself. I'm not aware of the
Tekks being modified to run faster than that, though.
