Not true, 10M uses USB, and 1200. I've never seen a LSB or 300 baud
station. They may exist, but we can't hear them in Oklahoma :-)

I use the US Air Force Method. The Window Frequency. Dial up
the frequency, and select LSB or USB. Forget about all the other
crap. Some people can take a bar of soap and write a Novel about
it, with 10 ways to scrub your ass. Just do it.

How do you know wether it is USB or LSB?

The other operators say they are on 28.195, and when I put
that in the window, and select USB, I can decode them, and when
I select LSB I can't :-)

Given a window freq, I can tell which one they are using.

Generally, for all HF, is it above (USB) or below (LSB) 10MHz?

It's the frequency in the window (the digital readout).

Good enough for me.
