Yes, but if you really 'scour' the manual; you find on page 4 of the
Specialized Comm. Manual "Note: You must not change the default (9600 bps)
in Menu 1-9-5 (COM PORT)." Emailed Kenwood; film at eleven!

Subject: PC wanted
I'm still desperately searching for a ruggedised portable PC, capable
of running
Windows CE, if anyone has such a thing, or knows where one can be found
secondhand.
The ideal is one of the very rugged models made by Husky. The laptop made
by Panasonic in a rugged case might be a possibility, but I could really do
with the full weather protection of the Husky.
Any ideas, anyone?

Subject: rfi problem
I am experiencing some telephone rfi when I operate PSK31 on 40 meters.
I do not have this problem on any other band, and not with any other
mode on 40 meters. Just on 40 meters and PSK31. Does anyone out there
have an idea of what may be causing this?
