Subject: Help on EPROM, D/A circuit??

If this is not the proper Group, please
pardon my intrusion...

I'm building an arbitrary waveform
generator to time-control the gain of a receiver.

It uses a ring counter which sequentially
addresses an EPROM. The 8-bit wide
EPROM output is fed to a D/A converter,
so that the analog signal out of the D/A
is an arbitrary voltage depending on the
memory previously written into the EPROM.

Can anyone suggest where I can get a
schematic suggesting part numbers??

The EPROM will be about 8x256 bits.

Thanks, Henry

An updated version of Pacterm '98 and Pk-Term '99 is now on the web at
http://www.cssincorp.com . This is a free upgrade for owners of the product.

Apparently your C compiler processes a language that resembles C. But
does it also accept the following correct C program?

#include <stdio.h>

int main ()

{
    int i;

    i = 6 //* divided by */ 3;

    printf("%d\n", i);
    return 0;
}

Subject: Two soundcards

Has anyone managed to successfully get two soundcards to work
simultaneously under W98 ? I am using a Creative SB card but have
also an integrated yamaha system in a Dell Pentium II 350 mhz PCI
machine. I would like to run one of them as a dedicated FFT card
while using the other for RTTY/PSK etc.

Has anyone any information on how to go about this ?

If I get any useful data I will post a summary to this group

Can anyone give me guidance as to setting up XPwin and a TNC-2 tnc.
This seems to fall in to the dumb terminal mode but there is no real
documentation on setting it up.
