Oh dear - taking apart laptops really is only for the brave.

Most case designs are designed to snap together and never be undone.

Case breakage is most likely to result.

The prognosis is not good.

Oh no you don't - you'll get a hefty belt off the darn thing ;-))

I learnt that when taking apart one of my old DELL lappys.

Ouch !

Incidentally my lappy screen fault was that the edge connector on the main
PCB had worked loose (it was connected to the flexistrip that ran to
the screen).
