Hi Peter and all,

What makes action adventure movies and TV good is authenticity, if you
can't make it real make it believable. I'm sure they took plenty of
liberty with the WW2 tales, "Pappy" Boengton (sp?) for one himself
mentioned that the episodes were based on events but not entirely
accurate. So what? It's not a portrayal of history, it's an adventure
tale. The important part of accuracy is the props, I've laughed at
receivers with mics plugged into the headphone jack and wondered how
anyone could call Sheriff Andy Taylor on an Eico 720 Novice CW
transmitter that didn't even have a crystal in the socket. Maybe the set
was designed by Barney Fyfe.

If you look up N2OO on QRM dot com you may get your memory jogged by his
other callsigns. Besides N2OB being the Old Barney ARC club call you may
have heard as a special event station he has others used by DXpeditions.
Bob is a world class and fairly well known DX champ and the equivelent of
BMOC in the club so he was Bob before I met Bob on packet if you know
what I mean. <wink>

Oh, I just realized I should have kept my mouth shut about Andy! I hope
Homeland Security doesn't take me seriously and contact the English
equivelent. Andy, if you're reading this DESTROY THE EVIDENCE AND DENY
EVERYTHING. If you need help that's what packet is for, everyone here
knows I'm a lunatic with a frog fetish.

Well Pete, at least you don't have to collect all those Easter eggs and
store them in the refrigerator. Just leave them frozen until you and
Rusty get hungry or throw them at those pesky old crabs from Michegan.
Oh, before they go home ask if one is Mich Egan, I haven't heard from him
in a while.
