Here's an example of an urban warrior who's past caring whether or not he
gets banged up in the cooller. He just decided one day that he would push
the abusrdity of the lax credit culture in the UK to its logical end.

Sid Chaney, an 85-year-old from Basildon, has never had an Asbo or been
prosecuted but he's been banned from his local Barclays bank after
defrauding it (and other banks) of over œ100,000GBP. He spent about
œ20,000GBP of the money on food at his local supermarket and gave it
away to pensioners in the high street.

Bless.

The idea came to him one morning when he picked up all the junk mail on
his doormat and, instead of throwing it in the bin, decided to apply for
every credit card application form addressed to him.

Sid began by opening a bank account in the name of his pet canary, Walter.
Walter was immediately offered so much credit that Sid opened three
further accounts in the name of his dog, Patrick.

Patrick applied for and was given three credit cards, one with a limit
of œ1,500GBP. Even after Walter the canary died, Walter was still being
showered with new credit cards.

Ho hum.

Best wishes
