} That's very true. The problem's arise when the bulletins aren't "placed" on
} the amateur network by a licenced station, rather they're simply being
} gatewayed onto the network with virtually no "human" intervention.

} The fact that the bulletin *may* (or may not) have an amateur callsign as a

I personally don't like the amateur radio networks connected to *ANY* other
networks, and that includes the telephone network or internet.

BUT, and it's a BIG BUT, it is legal for many stations to connect the amateur
packet network to other networks ( and that probably includes CB ).
In this country anyone who has applied for Site Clearance for a GB7** NODE
is given such authority.

I quote from the authorisation that I have recently received :-

"When operating under this authority, for the purposes of operations
under the Wireless Telegraphy Acts, the Licensee shall be permitted to
connect the station to non-amateur networks."

unquote.

I most certainly will NOT be connecting the GB7 node at my address to any
'non-amateur networks' but if I wished to, then it would be perfectly
legal for me to do so.
