Hello!

>SM7UZI doesn't seem to understand about Nodes and Digipeaters.
Whats your problem?
And what is this a reply to?

>BPQ nor Flexnet with a digipeater are not made for users so What's the use
>with Win 95?
There seems to be a damamd for windows nodes!
But a windows node will never be very good for unnatended stations etc and it
is not my opinion that windows nodes should be used.
So why do you address this to me in that not very polite way?

>They operate usually on remote sites and the smallest the environment is the

Windows is not for unnatended or other nodes, dos or linux etc should be used.
But that should be rather obvious for every one that ever have used bill gates
windows!

>The user type Flexnet is without the digi. and comes into the 3.3f version or
>the Flex95 kit.
There is a verison 3.3g of the flexnet node, why not use that?

>The real thing for a remote digipeater are the 3.3e and 3.3g and coming soon

Why not the rmnc/flexnet hardware, it is even better!
Cheap, can ahndle very many ports high speeds etc, low power consumtion and
so on.

>And for BPQ a user doesn't need that, The best thing with Win 95/98 is a TNC2
>in Host mode TF2.7b (no driver needed) and a good Windows program like Wingt.
Bpq nodes that pops up and goes is problem, but many users thinks they should
use a bpq node for some strange reason.

And yes indeed, hostmode tnc is preferable instead of the use of kiss.
But for low speed packet is there often no need for any tncs at all.
