To use a packet driver like flexnet in hostmode isn't possible with most tncs,
since they are to slow to handle that software.
But to use flexnet via 6pack can be done, the capabillity of using 6pack has
every tnc. That is the solution to be able to use good packet driver even with
a old slow tnc.
So to make a 6pack firmware for every tnc is possible and there for also to
use Flexnet.
Without 6pack wouldn't is be possible to use a tnc with flexnet!
The 6pack driver for flexnet can be used with every tnc, but of course
must the tnc have a firmware with 6pack support.
That is what I mean!
The conclusion is that it is not the flexnetgroups fault that kantronics tncs
can't be used with flexnet at this moment.
To provide a 6pack supporting firmware is a matter of the users or kantronics.
The flexnet group have done what they could to make flexnet usable with any
tnc.
