Thank you, Sergey. In fact, I used the same CAT cable that I previously
used (successfully) with FT-1000MP. It was an open-end cable that I got
with the pactor modem. So I just soldered an RS232 plug to the open-end.
It worked pretty well with FT-1000MP and also with FT-1000Field.
And now for FT-847 I just changed the gender of that RS232 plug with a
male/female gender adapter. It seems that FT-847 is capable to accept
some commands if they are sent to it at 'SCS modem level' (via the
pactor modem CAT port). But not always good if they are sent by BPQ.
Need to make more tests.
