Hi Pete and all,
FB on Ian and you setting blab records on Skype, but I think you'll have
to marathon it to even try out doing the women. Here's my opportunity to
complain about one totally lacking in consideration, on my way home
Friday from a doctor appointment I shared the med transport taxi with one
already on the cell to the call center. She talked for the entire 40
minute ride saying nothing of any importance or relevence, had the poor
guy on the other end tied up since they're not allowed to terminate
calls. When she finally shut up and got out the driver and I commented on
why it takes so long to get through to a representitive, bottom line is
not so much call volume but mindless people like her.
Based on the weight gain I came up with that fat bat joke, now does
2+2=4? (;->) I tend to agree, put on just a little makeup and the voice,
Ian would fit right into the Goth crowd and have no shortage of dates.
Interestingly enough there's this soft core Goth chick on NCIS, a TV show
about Naval criminal investigation. She plays the part of a forensics lab
scientist white coat and all, a bit weird but rather cool. Eh, they used
the refrain from an even older song Jeepers Creepers (where'd ya get
those eyes?) in an old makeup commercial, that's probably where you heard
it.
Along with my boat anchors folder I have one for vintage CB in the
archives, when you mentioned them rigpix or rigpics (I don't remember the
exact URL offhand) came to mind. I'm sure Google will turn it up along
with many others.
I suppose REACT still has a proper face on up north, down this way
between the morons and skip on ch9 it went bust. Since I quit and haven't
looked back I can't say what they're up to now or are acive even, last I
used CB as a beacon band for 10M it was pretty dead so my guess is that
lacking a need to exist, they don't. As an aside, some of the internet
forums (Hamsexy in particular) have them and RACES pegged as EMCOMM
wackers, gotta love the porcupine photos. (;->)
Yeah, I can see the paradoxial humor in you could have gotten tower help
on 80M without HF antennas, some forget to start brain before engaging
mouth. Well, you got it done and that's the main thing, outside big
cities people always were friendly and helpful, aside from that period of
mayhem CBers are no exception. Heh, never mention CB on 2M considering
the general attitude, look in the mirror kiddies and you'll see a 2M
CBer. Oh before anybody gets his panties in a wad it's not a derogatory
term, it's your laid back casual operating as compared to the more rigid
HF protocol.
Now how the heck did you get the part of the song that goes "jeepers
creepers how'd ya get those peepers?" mixed up with peeps? That'll larn
ya to listen to an American rather than a Brit when it comes to things
American! (;->)
