Hi Ian and all,

Oh I know exactly what you meant, I just mentioned the Brownie because it
was the family camera. My personal camera was some off brand copy of an
earlier Brownie with a straight through viewfinder, rather difficult to
see just what I was aiming at but it used the same 127 film and it
worked. BTW, I used it to photograph my Antenna Specialists Super Magnum
CB antenna in sunlight against a black storm cloud, talk about
spectacular contrast! I had some others of various radio equipment I had
at the time, all came out very good but what annoys me is all my old
photos and the negatives got lost somewhere along the way.

Eh, I never worried about skyscraper nosed snobs sneering at my photos
and that includes those taken with a cheapo "eyeball" camera that came
with an off the shelf computer I had some years ago. I have photos taken
of my old shack and antennas with it I'll send as e-mail to anyone
interested and raspberries to anyone who doesn't like them.

I never could afford a 35mm SLR and still can't afford one of the new
high res digital ones so big deal, I'm not proud. Oh I remember NASA
chose a Hasselblad for space missions, the best available at the time
until the Japanese shot past the Germans at light speed.
