   Sorry, Barry, but the silver commemorative coin of 1927 for the opening of
Parliament House was a florin.  A handsome two-bob piece, richly inscribed.

   One sits in front of me right now.  A fine example of the engraver's art.

   It is in no way scarce or valuable.  The harsh reality is that it's present
market price would not purchase the same basic staples (bread, beer, etc)
as two shillings did in 1927.  And commodity prices show that it is not worth
melting down for silver content.

   Bummer.
