Hello there Bobaloo,
I suggest watching Braveheart again! (Love those historical inaccuracies.)
I certainly don't recall they had Scots running around yelling "Hoot
mon!" or anything like it. Frankly I have never heard any Scots using
that expression, but there may be a few around somewhere.
I DID however see a bunch of Brits in Kilts running around in kilts
yelling it, in Monty Python's Flying Circus. (Crazy southerners!)
NOW I'd like to hear from some Scots, those much more level headed
"northerners". Hmmmm, think I'll fire off an e-mail to my friend in
Scotland and tell him to put one on packet. (;->)
