Earl.  You sent an APRS message to Joey, who was on RF.  Your message passed 
through the gateway, which put you on RF through the gateway.  I'm sorry 
that I asked you not to beacon one per minute while you were parked.  Feel 
free to beacon as often as you would like.

Within a couple of seconds. 

Example, here in Southern California, my home station igate and 
UIvwebserver is logged into various tier 2 servers.  When my parked 
mobile beacons, it is immediately igated by my home station (ants are 
about 15 feet apart!).  As fast as I can refresh my browser, the updated 
posit is visible at findu which receives it's data from one of the tier 
1 servers.

OK, I guess we all misunderstood some stuff that night.

And to avoid any other misunderstandings, I want to inform the list that
we're talking about beaconing on TCP/IP with no radio attached at all.
