Can anyone point me to an installable package for solaris 2.6. I've tried
the compile versions a couple of times and got tired of not holding my
mouth right.......

2.6? Dang, how old is that? I think my ancient SparcStation IPXs in the
garage are running 2.7 (aka 7). I think the age of the OS might be a
problem. Haven't tried it myself, though. I think I had Xastir running on
DEC Unix for awhile, and I defintely remember running aprsd, but never did
much with the Sun hardware.

Ask on the Xastir list. I know there are users that are running it on
Solaris that are on there. Not many, but a few. That's be your best bet
for getting help on a compiled version or compiling it yourself.
I've compiled it on 2.5 or 2.6 before, but it's been quite a while.

Well, it was a castoff from the office, but I just couldn't bear to toss
ultra's in the dumpster. Would you like to suggest some other OS?
IF you want old, I think I still have a 386i somewhere.

Yeah, I even had the official Solaris 7 CD set for free. I'm sure it's
available for download somewhere.
I'll see your 386 and raise you a MicroVAX II. =]

that runs InstantTrack just nicely.

I'm all in with a PS/2 mod 80, a PS/2 mod 55, a PS/2 mod 30, a 286 that I
forget the model of, and a Commodore 64 with a disk drive and serial bus
printer and a PK-64 TNC, all still in working order.

This digi made it 577 miles in 6 hops. Does UTAH need us in CA. to
notice them on map? They still had 1 hop left over...

Looks like quite a few digis out your way could care less for preventing

Just start bombarding those digis with useless messages and see if the ops
even care to see it. :} I know useless traffic is just tying up a channel,
just as they are doing with too long a path. :)
