Hi Packet operators,

An update to the previous message about running Winpack to AGW Packet
Switch 2002.10 version on a Win98se PC with LU7DID AXIPDRV.dll, then
across a home LAN to an Xrouter DOS PC with TNCs & Radios attached.

After getting the Winpack to AGW Packet Switch + AXIP end sorted out in
the Win98se PC, I could connect via Xrouter to RF. I wasn't getting much
coming in while unconnected. I have updated my Xrouter.cfg (configuration)
file now. I added the odd PIPE & PIPEFLAG, plus a few PORTALIAS lines to
make things work.
I can now monitor the RF traffic from my local ZL1AB F6FBB-type BBS on my
Winpack screen while unconnected.
I can see the regular broadcasts to MAIL-1 of stations with messages to be
downloaded. I can see the unproto (addressed to FBB) updates of new
bulletins as the BBS gets them. Also I can see the ID Packets (APRS
compatible) & NODES broadcasts from the ZL1AB-1 Xrouter.

So my aim of being able to see everything I would like to from my WIN98se
PC, in my lounge via the LAN to the Shack Xrouter DOS PC, while the XYL
watches TV is acheived.

I can send copies of the files to anyone who wants to do a similar thing
over a home LAN. Packet & email addresses supplied below.

I'm fairly confident that the setup would work between two copies of AGW
Packet Switch on different PCs, should someone not be into DOS Xrouter for
the interface with the TNC & Radio.
