I'll say it once again:

What killed 9k6 was radios tat were advertised as 9k6 ready, but were not.
Other than a few very expensive satellite rigs, that generated FSK at an IF 
frequency and then up-converted, most rigs just would not transmit the 9k6 
FSK waveform.
Problem was that manufacturers attempted to single point inject the waveform 
into the frequency synthesizer, only to have the lower frequency components 
that fell within the PLL band width stripped off by the PLL !
And to make matters worse, they LIED about their products...

Yes, ther are some excellant 9k6 rigs out of Germany, but not sold in the US 
of A !

What should be investigated is som of the newer waveforms, that can go into a 
mic jack !
Tom Sailor has an excellant assortment, that work with new FLEX32 Windows 
version.
