Hi Bob and all,
I'll thell you where the signals are, in New Jersey, that's where! Last
summer started slow but hit it's stride eventually, 6 was booming and 2
was wide open with our famous coastal ducting day and night for a couple
of months. December is a good month too but more sporadic, still we've
been having some great but unstable continental openings. Frankly I'm
listening to a QSO on 6 right now, not great DX but... ah, they just
signed and the band fell silent. Well, for once the noise level dropped
and I could open the squelch to hear the local guy with his beam pointed
west.
Yeah, the Faraday shield again so go ahead and brain me, I sure could use
one. Crown me while you're at it, I'm the king of VHF DX. Right, Magic
Band it is and the rabbit deserted you and found a new home here at the
Jersey Shore.
Nyeah nyeah na na nyeah nyeah! (;->)
