hello all ....
As you know, Maria is always busy in the galley, making all these
treats, and well some of them are rich so watch the diets and your
waistline...<g>.
We were making Keebee as indicated by this posting, and while
I know it was posted, as we've had a few emails, we also ran into]
this problem, so a "quickie" phone call to a sister and master chief
and restauranter, and we have the answer to a few emails, as well
as what we found out ....
Why is the Keebee when deep fried turning
out like the moon with craters instead of a smooth look?
Our answer was, so please take care, and add this to the recipe;
And it is Squeeze out the water from the Keebee before mixing
it with the ground beef and whatever you've added.
Gave it a shot with a fresh batch of Keebee and it worked ...!!!
The old stuff I made into hamburger paddies, and baked'em, as BBQing
well they just break up, and frying is nearly the same...only baking
works, and even at that they look like Moon Burgers with a lot of
craters.
Enough the Keebees and they are filling. :)
