Hello Peter, Michael, Billy and all who are reading this!
I'm still here. The last couple of weeks have been hectic.
First I got stung by a bee! I felt something on my hand and tried to
push it off. The bee didn't like that at all and retaliated. My had
started turning red and swelling so Bob took me to Urgent care. The
doctor thought it would be better by morning and gave me some
antilhistomin tablets. By morning the swelling was spreading to my wrist
and arm so made an appointment with my clinic - got sosme antibiotics.
Had an appointment with my aregular Dr. on Saturday - she gave me more
anatihistomin tablets and said the antibiotics really weren't too
helpful with bee stings. Also got a tetanus shot and da flue shot :-(
By Monday the swelling was going down.
Mondday evening we discovered a leak in the plumbing.
Monday morning Bob called the plumber, then took some papers out to the
recycle bin. When he didn't come back in a went looking for him - he had
fallen and couldn't get up. I finally calaled 911 who took him to the ER
where they determined he had had a stroke. Fortunately it was a small
stroke - he is improving and yesterday they moved him to the rehab unit
for intensive therapy. So hope all will be well.
I have a ride coming to take me to the hospital so all for now.
Peter, we have a pretty dog-tolerant neighborhood. Several people have 3
doogs, they have interesting barks. The neighbor children knock on our
door to ask if they can look for their dogs in our yard. At least they
ask! Nice family.
Got to go. 73
Sara
