I remember this too, and the connects and disconnects that
plagued her connecting. I think she mentions this in a
email I am posting which will bring all up to date.

That book sale sounds interesting, and well you have
"Vivaldi" too. Maria has a big collection I play all
the time.

I remember OM @WW last time. It didn't really last, and
I am not getting into the reasons for the failure. YL@WW
was always something special for it's more far reaching
ability to bring people together, and also non-amateurs
too via someone's TNC, as with my mother, and my then
girlfriend Maria in Brasuil in the 1990s.
If we can do the same with OM@WW then I am all for the
try, but don't mix the net reports. Lets face it OMs
really are not gardeners or in sewing or recipes.
A big proportion that is. Sports, and stuff OMs are
interested in is the vein, and ...well we'll see.

I must admit that I am not a big 7plus fan. Oh yeah
I have seen the 1 of 200 parts coming across the screen
at 1200bps and just gone to lunch. I should I guess
give other programs a try. Maybe 7plus one of my pics
too or whatever. I have no problems with it only
the parts of just flooding the screen in the mornings.
I will go with the flow. If everyone decides YES then
thats ok with me.
If one is interested, they will collect them all for the
picture. After all it is traffic and it keeps the
BBSes operating. The reason for it all...right????

My com program I use for packet is a old telephone dial
program for telephone BBSes...Yep DOS. Thats me...
and I guess I better ugrade from 1986.

You head for winter...and we are spring. Same as you

I just got notification of a Star Party for well in advance
September 9th;2010 in Algonquin Park...Maria and I loved
it.
I know you will enjoy your local Star Party.

Do you ever get the US and CANADA versions of the antique
Road show? I watch it, and I am amazed of things now
I had once that are worth so much.

Before you looked at the sun, which BTW I have seen
many do. They seem to be fixed stare. Then the damage.
My friend a local astronomer is into viewing the sun,
and his sun filter made of mercury and whatever is
worth a small fortune. He has always warned me of
looking at the sun, and even when there is an eclipse
to do the proper thing.
When I was at the community TV channel I was always worried
about going off air. No computers in those days, so I
can appreciate what you are going thru. I hope they
have a solution for you, and the damage is not too severe
with perhaps some method of improving it.

WOW that was a good turnaround....eh? <g> anyhow now
I am on the hunt for a easy to use system and retire my
comit com which is DOS...yes DOS from DOS5 days <g>
