There are plenty of CW programs that can be utilised, that will send CW to
any desired device, although one could be written quite simply to operate
on timer function to comply with current regs, that would also decode the
incoming CW signal's.

The major problem for Amateur Radio usage is the power output of the "of
Radio/Wireless LAN cards we really need a power amplifier, around 2watts
would be ample for 20-30 mile ranges LOS of course though.

As for securing the Network the inbuilt software will attain that, and by
utilising the 44.y,y,z IP Range, which is not accessable from any other
network, as it is already a restricted address range. try accessing a
known Amateur IP Address in the 44 IP range from the internet, ( without
accessing their Internet IP first, you cannot because DNS Servers do not
have them listed.
