Hi Roy and all,
Just ignore al the "bickering and squealing", concentrate on the subject
you have lost sight of. We're not talking about using "WiFi" cards to
hook a bunch of PCs together, a common land line lid misperception,
rather developing a high speed broadband system of our own.
Just to point you in the right direction, our friends "down under" are
experimenting with high speed broadband links on Amateur microwave bands.
The goal at first is to develop a network to replace the existing
backbone with broadband which will give the end users much increased
capability, not to mention speed.
Just a sarcastic remark aimed at no one in particular, do you out there
even know what a backbone is?
Don't mind me, just had to slap the faces of the land line lids and other
related bickerers and squealers.
