Paula,

Why do you continually use terms like "WiFi" and "plug & play"? These are
computer and Internet terms, as if we already didn't know. Yn this
respect what you say is true, it's not ham radio.

Now if you'll ever come down from your land line lid throne and join the
world of Amateur Radio you just might learn what the REAL topic under
discussion is, development of the microwave Amateur bands using the
latest available broadband technology.

Your continual knocking of this forward leap isn't the least bit
surprising coming from the world of the Internet land line lids and is
now the latest paragraph in the litany of anti Amateur Radio rhetoric.
There is that certain crowd that slanders anything they happen to
disagree with or fail to understand, the practice is ancient and well
known.

Now wasn't it you a week ago whining on about poor microwave links when
such has never even been tested until now and then not in the UK at all?
Hmmmm, now there you have a classic case of ignorance, saying something
won't work before even trying it out! There you go, slandering something
you disagree with AND don't understand. Now if I remember correctly a
while back you said the same thing about VHF and UHF links, flying in the
face of many who proved you wrong! There's something going wrong around
here...

Well, thanks for pointing out who the REAL backward thinkers are, the
LAND LINE LIDS!

LONG LIVE AMATEUR RADIO! SUPPORT OUR MICROWAVE BANDS!
