Hi Ian and all,

Those rubber suits went out because we now have better electric lines,
they don't fall on us nearly as often. As for street lamps, sun glasses
protect the eyes from the UV given off by the carbon arc so where were
they when carbons provided street lighting? Not until the 30s did movie
stars wear them off camera for that reason and started a trend.

Moving right along, we wear tin foil hats to protect us from alien mind
probes so I suppose mobile phones, WiFi and the like will also start a
fashion trend. I can see her now coming down the runway all decked out in
diamonds, pearls and foil, the REAL Miss Universe from the planet Nebulon.

"Just a thought."

Not really, you're full of notions but just one shy of a thought. (;->)
