Hi all - Hope someone can help.
My WAP has somehow got corrupted and all the documented factory resets
fail to bring it to proper operation.
Symptoms -
Red Diag light stays on permanently.
The setup program starts and displays the firmware version 2.08, but the
default IP address shows as 1.192.168.1 instead of 192.168.1.245.
Attempts to use the default password (ADMIN) fails thereby not allowing
access to change the setup.
Cannot access the box for administration using a browser as the IP address
is not recognised.
However the wifi service functions OK in 'unsecured network' mode. I
have unplugged it for now so as to disallow unauthorised access.
So, if anyone has a password bypass or another way of really resetting it
to factory standard I would be very grateful otherwise it will have to be
consigned to Room 101 !
