Hello David
Yes doing some tests at this time. We have a succesful link over 5.23Km,
almost a clear path across country apart from a narrow gap between the
houses which I fire through.
Power 60mW to a 38cm offset dish at G3ZJO. 60mW to 58cm offset dish at
G4YKE.
As yet the link has been tempory at the 'far' end with a dish and Access
Point mounted in a bedroom. Next step to get the dish outside at the 'far'
end G4YKE.
To see the path look at APRS we are both on there. Linking the Colour TV
to the Sailing Boat.
In Northampton we are heading toward a network like the VK ones. G4IIO and
G1IRG have been linked for a time, a poor path through trees and houses
about 1 Km.
We have others interested and need to get our man in the middle on board
to get 5 linked stations. The network will be 'NptonHams' and I will get a
website on soon under that name with pictures and details.
