You don't SEE because you are so blinded by your own anti-land
line agenda Warren :-)

Quoting huge chunks of R: lines and my signature block doesn't
prove or disprove anything at all. A BBS is just a computer
running some software, so how can you magically "see" through
it to determine its connections to the outside world? You're
looking in the wrong place.

Even if you can't get a NetROM connection to the KIDDER node,
it doesn't take much brain to go to www.fourpak.org.uk/netmap.htm
and see the RADIO links we run around these parts. A whole lot
more than you've got, from recollection of your previous moans
about the poor state of networking over there.

2 or 3 minutes on the pzt.org.uk site, or its radio-based
mirror at g8pzt.ampr.org, or www.qsl.net/g8pzt will soon
turn up a list of my RADIO ports, and pictures of the
antenna farm.

I make no secret of the fact that I have plenty of
Internet connectivity, but ports 1 through 13 are

RADIO. And no-one would be heartbroken if the Internet
went down because it's only an ADJUNCT to the robust
radio network, not a replacement. It is also an
EXPERIMENT in the inter-connection of fast and slow
networks, to determine what problems arise and what
solutions are suggested.

So what AMATEUR RADIO links are YOU running then Warren?
Are YOU providing a service to AMATEUR RADIO users?
Do please show us YOUR antenna farm... you know, the one
which carries the packet radio links which prevent you
operating voice radio in any VHF/UHF band.

What's this DoS attack you've been ranting about?
Obviously something aimed at the USA because we
didn't have a problem here. In any case, it wouldn't
have made any difference, because the RADIO links
would be unaffected.

You can quote, re-quote, twist my words, argue, and rubbish
me however you like Warren, it's water off a duck's back
because everyone knows how you hijack any subject
just to make your own point, ad nauseam. Your words are
viewed with ridicule on this side of the pond, and
no-one takes you seriously any more.

You've brought it on yourself, by childishly turning
everything into a personal attack upon whomsoever you
disagree with, even your potential frends and allies.

There aren't many BBS's left who don't reject your
bulletins, so *your* audience is dwindling, whereas
my replies are still seen, and when I'm tired of winding
you up I'll just leave you to rant to yourself :-)

Do yourself a big favour Warren. Grow up, and learn to
respect other people's points of view, even if they
are at variance with your own. No-one minds reasoned
debate, but narrow-minded, evangalistic and unremitting
pursuit of one gripe, ad nauseam, does you and your
cause no good. Sometimes one has to beg to differ and
simply shut up.

Have a nice day :-)

73, Paula
