Hello !
Yesterday I installed a new Microsoft WindowsNT 4.0. After that I
intalled WinTNC and it doesn't work. WinTNC instaltion program put in
SYSTEM.INI following line:
DEVICE=.....\WinTNC\baycom.vxd
This like tell windows to load baycom driver when loading system. Win3.1x and
Win95 support VXD files, but in new NT4.0 version I didn't find any VXD at
all. SYSTEM.INI in NT is much shorter and there are no DEVICE lines too.
Is it possible to use VXD files under NT ? How to use WinTNC under NT ??
By the way, Microsoft Visual Basic 4.0 Pro also doesn't work under new
NT4.0. Aplication is aborted on the start. Also S3-765 graphic card doesn't
work. When you put S3-765 on the motherboard the sistem halt and only reset
is possible.
