That's right Dave. My lawn bowlng club was given two with broadband
internet connection!! Late models too! I have not used them so I don't
know what the OS is but I can find out easily enough.
In my system here XP runs very fast on this new computer. Faster thanWIN7
in fact.
BTW for any VHF UHF enthusiasts reading this, I am monitoring 144.1
continuously and scanning 50 megs all day. Beacons coming through and the
occasional amateur call.

I notice in the latest VK Centrelink Journal (pensioners magazine),
that our Federal Government is proffering re-furbished computers for
pensioners. But wait for it, that each has a registered version of
Windows XP on it.
They are clever folk running our country!
